  16. York City. In 1982 he collaborated with Alan Menken on Little
  17. Shop of Horrors, off-Broadway's highest-grossing musical.
  18. Ashman and Menken won a 1989 Oscar for Best Original Song with
  19. Under the Sea, from Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid.
